Rochedale South – Suburb Profile

Rochedale South is between 12 and 18 km south-east of central Brisbane. ‘Rochedale’ was named after an early settler family (c1870). The name was given in about 1920 when a post office was opened.Rochedale South sits between Rochedale and Springwood on the eastern side of the Pacific Motorway. Its convenient position and easy access means that families will find many of the services and facilities they require both within their suburb and in neighbouring areas.
